Joker Card Box Design
Adobe Illustrator
This project was created as part of a Graphics Design course during the first semester of my studies.
It was my first introduction to Adobe Illustrator, where we were challenged to design a custom box layout that incorporates a 2D graphic of a character—real or fictional.
Concept & Idea
I began by brainstorming ideas that would create a logical and creative connection between the type of box and the character I’d feature.
I chose the Joker, inspired by the movie's release at the time, and designed a playing card box around this theme using Illustrator.
Design Process
I started by building a precise, functional box layout, as we were required to create a net that could actually be folded and assembled. I dedicated time to getting the measurements and proportions exactly right.

The layout I designed for the card box. It was built to scale and structured for real-world folding and assembly.
Next, I planned the visual concept: background colors, element placement, and overall composition.
Step by step, I created each graphic element in Illustrator, placing it on the layout as I progressed.
At the final stage, I added typography and refined the details.
The Result
a Joker-themed playing card box that is both conceptually cohesive and technically accurate.
